The voices you hear in the background aren't EVP...they're my kids laying on the floor coloring listening to the music.

Most of the sound for the TV stuff was through a lapel mic (which got overwhelmed a lot of the time) and I think a high-hanging overhead studio mic. Either way it blows.

As for MP3s and stuff, send away. I have the technology. I need to get back into doing some recording of my own anyway. It's hard to find the quiet with the menagerie.
