Sweatin' in my Office...Zippidy Doo Dah

Zippity-Ay!

It has started: the annual heat up.  As long as the outside temperature stays below 70 (don't know why that's a magic number, but it is) my office stays reasonably cool.  70 and up, and it's now close to 80 in here, and rising.

Yes, the office A/C is on.  Yes, it sucks.  All of the cold air goes to the main bathroom.  I don't know how or why.

Thankfully, CFO is talking about portable air conditioners and new electrical circuits to handle them and all the electronics that are the accoutrements of my job.

From now on, I'm packing shorts to have on hand.

You could also get some high-volume CPF fans from Grainger and put them in the ceiling (assuming you have a drop ceiling.

New ones are quiet and would vent the heat of your room elsewhere. Did that for several clients who insisted on putting their racks in closets.
