Family Update

Not much of a weekend, with two sick kids and two tired adults.  Katie and Jami both sick all week, then Saturday* Jami's right eardrum burst from the pressure of the infection behind it.

Full details here.  It's friends-locked, so maybe you'll see it, may be you won't.  The summary is that our boy is going to get a bit worse before he gets better (the other ear could go, for example), but everything is at least treatable.  The big worry now is that the ITP, in remission for several months, could be back.  Please God, no.

As to the rest of the week, who knows?  I went ahead and came into work since I figure my mornings this week are going to be hard enough that I won't want to push to come in.  It's just a shifting of the workday, is all, which is one of the good things about working where I do.

Now, here's hoping this cold will go away in time for the November 3rd concert at the Main Street Coffeehouse in Independence 7:30 - 9:30ish, all welcome, good coffee, new ownership, blah blah blah.
