A quick, bulleted update...

Because there isn't time for much else today.

• Get to spend my morning in a meeting with CFO, storyboarding the Next Big Interface.  Woo-hoo.
  
• A bit of a panicked search last night when I couldn't find my Greater Dark DVD's.  Found them, finally.  Would've made tonight awfully boring, staring at a blank TV.  Or the DiLaurentis "Dune."
  
• If I were a reporter covering the Kelsey Smith murder, I think I would try to avoid the question "What's the family's emotional state?"  Jeezus H.Kee-rist!  "Oh, they're distraught?  No fucking shit?"
  
• Data Guy's all upset today, but I don't know why yet.  I think a client reemed him and he's still bleeding from the ass...I'll find out in a few minutes in our morning update.
  
• ISPs suck pretty uniformly.  Switching to GoDaddy.com doesn't fix anything.
  
• Leaving work early today so I can have the grill going for this evening a little earlier than usual.  If the day turns out like I expect it to, leaving early will be a blessing.
  
  
• Hope it doesn't storm while I'm trying to cook.  That'd be wet.

I've always thought that was the dumbest of journalistic questions, since the media folks rarely cover any event where the emotional state isn't absolutely obvious. What do they expect?-"Our beautiful daughter was murdered so we'll just be partying our butts off!" numbnuts!!!!
