Things I've learned from my four year old

Life lessons that my daughter has taught me, directly or indirectly.

  • The world is an entirely different place from 36" off the ground
  • Sometimes it okay to run around naked
  • You don't have to know what you're doing to offer to help
  • Sometimes it's more important to color the whole picture than to stay inside the lines
  • The right crayon is important: choose wisely.
  • The sky isn't always blue, and grass isn't always green.  Roses, however, are always pink.
  • Knowing the secret doesn't always spoil the fun or ruin the magic
  • Life is easier when the rules are simple.
  • When someone hands you a microphone, sing.  no matter what.
  • Sometimes a kiss is all it takes to make you feel better.
