mapsedge: Me at Stone Bridge Coffee House (gravedigger)

How I spent my evening...

My plans for Sunday morning's presentation include a full makeup: beard, nose, olive skin. I'm making a strong effort not to look like a Nebraskan in a borrowed robe, you know?

A trip to ATC yesterday got me the beard (pricier than I expected), base, powder, etc.

The Mercers came over last night and helped me with the next step: the nose. Because of the shape of my nose I have trouble fitting factory made appliances, and prefer to make my own. Last night, we did the life casting.

**headdesk**

You know I love ya, man. But you are playing a ... shepherd? wise man? ... in a little church vignette.

Ah, well. Far be it from me to squelch creativity.... You just make me shake my head....

With the most innocent look I can manage, I shall now ask, "What?"

A shepherd, just to clarify.

And just for fun I'm going to hide a little cd player in the robes with earbuds, and while I'm doing my presentation I'll be listening to either Sammy Hagar's "Heavy Metal" or Meredith Brooks' "I'm a Bitch".

(I wish, oh I wish LJ would let you edit comments. In reading this after I posted it the first time I realized it sounded like I was inferring YOU were a bitch, which of course is not in my estimation at all true.)

From the newsletter sent out in email from the senior pastor:

Both morning services will feature a dramatic presentation by William Morris called: From the Hilltop/A Shepherd's Perspective.
