Katie-isms
Driving to the local DIY store for some lumber, and had Katie in the van with me. Without any preamble or exposition, she launches into a story about a little girl and her Hello Kitty doll.
"And where is this story happening?" I ask.
"It's a town called Wuffleberg."
I chuckle. "Wuffleberg, huh? Where's Wuffleberg?"
In a voice of grave sincerity, she replies, "In the Old Country."
I laugh out loud, though not as hard as I was about to. "In the Old Country, is it?"
"Yeah." Then, apparently feeling more was needed, she finished me, "You know. Like Texas."
"And where is this story happening?" I ask.
