Movie Diaries 17
I got an email from one of the folks who worked with me on the movie, wanting to resurrect the project.
It strikes me, now, that "resurrect" is a good word, although the project never completely died. It's laying on the table, gasping, crying out for morphine, with us doctors ranged around the room willing - no, aching to help - while the hospital administrator, a madman with no ethical compunctions - stands between us and the gurney, snarling at the group and swinging a scalpel.
"I'll never let you save him unless I can hold the knife!!!" he screams at us. We look at his shaking hands and the spittle at the corners of his mouth and the madness in his eyes, shake our heads, and mentally say our goodbyes.
Except that I've got a bunch of footage, and I know how to use it. If you've got time for the download, I had a little bit of fun. For the first time, the world will see a bit - just a bit - of "Watchers of the Greater Dark". This link, btw, is for a webpage with the video available, not to the video itself. It's a safe click.
What happens when you give Bill footage and an editor?
Let me know what you think.
EDIT: Yeah, it's a dead link. I had to clear some space on my server. If you, reading this journal sometime in the distant future, would like to see the video, drop me an email. william at mapsedgemedia dot com.
