It sounded like a gunshot.  Or, perhaps more appropriately given the holiday, a firecracker.  A loud POP from the left front wheel well. 

We were on our way to buy fireworks for the July 4th family get-together / block party, and went to our usual place at 210 Hwy and 291.  As I pulled onto 210, the van struck something in the road. ( Read more... )
